Welcome Message
The 125th scientific meeting of the Japanese Society of Medical Physics (JSMP) will be held jointly with the 82nd annual meeting of the Japanese Radiological Society (JRS), the 79th annual meeting of the Japanese Society of Radiological Technology (JSRT), and the International Technical Exhibition of Medical Imaging (ITEM2023) of the Japan Industries Association of Radiological Systems (JIRA). I would like to express my sincere appreciation and welcome you all to the conference.
The theme of the conference is “Be a Game Changer in Medicine through Radiology”. As you know, the word “Game Changer” means a person who suddenly changes the flow of things, or something innovative that has a great impact. This year’s conference is intended to find a new “Game Changer” in radiology and to make JRC2023 the turning point of a new trend. We hope that the conference will open up new perspectives in the development of medical physics and provide an opportunity to further apply knowledge and achievements in physics and engineering that we have cultivated to date in the development of medicine.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we learned how difficult it is to present and discuss our findings at conferences. Therefore, based on our experience at previous conferences, we would like to provide a forum for participants to candidly present and discuss their research results. We hope that all members and interested members will participate in the conference by presenting the results of their daily research and actively discussing them. We sincerely look forward to your participation.

The 125th Scientific Meeting of the Japan Society of Medical Physics will be held as follows. In view of the need to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the conference will be held in a hybrid style of on-site and webcast. Details will be announced on the conference website as they become available.
